Living in LA was SO FUN. Every weekend there was so much to do, that I was often overwhelmed by the choices. For my last weekend in LA before my Great American Road Trip, I really wanted to go to Dino Fest at the Natural History Museum and eat at this weird burger place I drove past all the time. So that’s what I did! And naturally, Shelby joined me.
We were so excited to finally go here! I drove past Howard’s Famous Bacon & Avocado Burgers about a million times before finally stopping in for lunch.
Queuing up the old Instagram story in preparation for the meal.
I’m not going to say it was the best thing I ever ate, but it was pretty good. The avocado was perfectly ripe but the tomatoes where about the sorriest excuse for tomatoes I ever tasted.

We had all intended to look at dinosaurs together, but totally got separated and lost. I spent more time that I care to admit in the “Insect Zoo.” Bryan, pictured here, wore a full Jurassic Park style get-up.
These bears look just like Gibby.
As I walked through the halls of the Natural History Museum, I kept thinking, “What if these came alive?” Then I remembered that’s the plot of A Night at the Museum 1, 2, and 3.
Shout out to my friends for showing me a good time before I left town! I miss you guys already.
