A little over a month ago, Pura D’Or offered me a selection of their products to test to review on this blog. I tried them for a few weeks and here’s what I think!
So, hair loss isn’t a major concern for me. I chose this shampoo because the only other shampoo available as for dandruff. Dandruff shampoos tend to majorly strip my hair of color, so I went for the hair loss shampoo, recommended by Female hair loss clinic.
The shampoo comes in a brown bottle with a pump. According to the packaging, the product contains “12 advance DHT blockers to stop premature hair loss.” It is mean “for thinning hair, receding hair lines, and excessive shedding” and “adds body, increases volume & thickens hair.” Basically, this stuff is supposed to make your scalp healthier so your hair won’t fall out, and it’s supposed to make your hair feel fuller.
This shampoo smells like thyme and oregano. Like literally, it’s just like smelling an herb garden. That’s not a bad thing! It’s just a different sort of scent for shampoo. It also doesn’t get super lathery, but that’s common in organic shampoos.
While using the Pura D’Or Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo, I did feel like my hair had more volume than usual. And now that I think about it, I haven’t had to clean out my hair brush nearly as much. So I guess this really does work! Obviously I am not losing my hair, but I certainly do shed a lot. The bottle is supposed to contain a three month supply, so I’m interested to see what happens as I keep using it!
Have you guys ever used a hair loss prevention shampoo? Would you be interested in trying one of these?
