WHAT I DID THIS WEEKEND

WHAT I DID THIS WEEKEND

posted in: BLOG, LIFESTYLE | 16
Phase One of my big move is complete! With the help of my mom and a few friends, I was able to move out of my apartment on Saturday. I donated most of my stuff to Goodwill and brought the rest to my aunt and uncle’s house in the ‘burbs. I will be here for two more weeks until my friend’s wedding is over, and then I’m off on my big road trip to California!

It’s all happening!

I feel like the most time-consuming parts of the move are over now, so I hope to be resuming a regular post schedule this week. Stay tuned!

lobster roll and fries the sycamore in columbus ohio

On Friday evening, Alicia surprised me with reservations at The Sycamore. The Sycamore has become kind of an inside joke for us, because we can NEVER seem to get in there. So finally I can check that off of my Columbus bucket list! I had a lobster roll, but it was only semi-decent ๐Ÿ™

colleen welsch going away party coocoo for coco

On Saturday night, Carolyn and I had a going away party at Seventh Son. It was absolutely the perfect night. So many of our wonderful friends came out, and my parents even drove down for the party! It’s bittersweet because while I’m really excited to move to LA, I am really going to miss my family and friends. I’m lucky to have such an incredible (and incredibly good-looking) group of people around me.

After Seventh Son, we headed over to Pint House for more drinks. That place is basically always a guaranteed shit show…but that’s pretty much what we were looking for.

The ceiling was open and it was sprinkling a little bit…thanks Ohio.

beet avocado and goat cheese salad

So now I’m chilling with my aunt, mom, and Noony the mini golden doodle. We had a delicious roasted beet, avocado, and arugula salad for dinner. And now basically I’m going to die because I’m so exhausted from this weekend. It was perfect but tbh I need another weekend to recover…

What have you guys been up to?
