REVIEW: ADOVIA PURIFYING MUD MASK & OZ NATURALS SEA INFUSED HERBAL MOISTURIZER

Wow, I wish I always had such a fantastic setting to take product pictures! This definitely beats all the set-ups I have going on in my apartment.

Today I have two skincare products to talk about: Adovia Purifying Mud Mask* and Oz Naturals Sea Infused Herbal Moisturizer*.

REVIEW: ADOVIA PURIFYING MUD MASK & OZ NATURALS SEA INFUSED HERBAL MOISTURIZER

According to the packaging, the Adovia Purifying Mud Mask “boosts cell renewal and revitalizes your skin, while tightening your pores…it gently pulls out toxins and impurities known to clog pores and cause visible signs of aging.” The mask contains Dead Sea Black Mud, beeswax, Jojoba Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, and Olive Oil. The texture of this stuff is just LIKE BUTTAH! A lot of mud masks, especially Dead Sea mud masks, have a gritty texture. But this one is super thick and rich and I just loved using it. I was having a bit of a break out last week and this really cleared me right up. It has a nice scent also. The mask is made in Israel and is not tested on animals.

REVIEW: ADOVIA PURIFYING MUD MASK & OZ NATURALS SEA INFUSED HERBAL MOISTURIZER

The Oz Naturals Sea Infused Herbal Moisturizer has a nice thick, gelatinous consistency. It contains Vitamin C, Algae Keratin Extract, and Blueberry Extract. According to the packaging, “Vitamin C infused with seaweed proteins that act as collagen building precursors.” I didn’t really notice any significant anti-aging effect while using this moisturizer. At first I actually broke out a bit on my chin and forehead when I started using it. I think it’s a good moisturizer, it’s just a bit heavy on my face for summer. I have been putting this on my sunburnt thighs and it seems to really be helping. I think I’m going to save this for my trip out west this summer, because I feel like this would be a great product for combatting the dryness of the desert air. This product is made in the USA, is 72% organic, and cruelty-free.

What do you think? Are you into either one of these? Do you just like looking at pictures of pools (I know I do!)?
