I spend a truly obscene amount of time drooling over the runway every single fashion week. Ugh, Milan was so good. I literally just said that London is always my favorite, but I misremembered. Milan is always my favorite. I mean, Moschino? Fendi? Hellooo?? Wake up, Colleen.
Anyhow, this year was no exception. Milan had so many amazing shows, but I’ve narrowed it down to my ultimate favorites for this post. It was hard!

Moschino Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear |
I love this, but what is this even? Is this inspired by Space Jam? The Warner Bros store circa 1997? Idk. It’s awesome though. Thanks for always making me relive my childhood, Moschino.

Luisa Beccaria Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear |
To be honest, I have never paid attention to Luisa Beccaria before, but she is great. The line had such a vintage and romantic feel in all satiny and silky rich grays and navy. It was so, so pretty and it was really hard to pick just four looks. I felt like these dresses would be equally at home on Downton Abbey as they would be on the red carpet present day.

Marcelo Burlon County of Milan Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear |
I was also really digging Marcelo Burlon’s collection, particularly that silver metallic snow suit that reminds me so much of Missy Elliott or TLC’s “No Scrubs” video. If those aren’t the inspiration for this line, they’re missing a really good chance.

Fendi Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear – Collection |
This collection reminded me of stuff people would wear in like Brave New World. It was very futuristic and somewhat hard, yet the colors and silhouettes were very feminine. I really enjoy that juxtaposition. I don’t know where I would wear a down-quilted dress but I really just feel like I need one now. It’s just like wrapping yourself in a duvet and going out into the world. What could be better?

Max Mara Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear |
Max Mara’s collection had the most beautiful color palette and just looked so, so soft and luxurious. Don’t you just want to rub those pieces along your cheek and purr? Have I used that metaphor before? I am getting really strange…

Giorgio Armani Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear |
Giorgio Armani’s collection was literally just jackets and pants over and over again. They were so cool though! Would you not wear all of those outfits?

Blumarine Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear |
Blumarine’s collection was all modern-day disco wear. I’m loving this pairing of rust and navy that was featured in a lot of the pieces.

Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear |
D&G’s collection was all about Italian mamas and it was so sweet! I adore the rose motif throughout. Please drape me in red roses. Plus green fur?! On headphones?! I die. I wonder if those headphones will actually available to purchase because they are so freaking cool.
