This past weekend I celebrated my 26th birthday! Every year, my birthday is always the coldest, snowiest day of the year and this year was no exception. It snowed all day and the temperature was like -2. But we didn’t let that stop us from having fun!
My work wife Whitney came over to my place to get ready and we had a laugh listening to music and doing each other’s hair and make-up. We had to have a bit of an impromptu photo shoot. How could we not?! She’s gorgeous!
I just let her keep that dress because I mean, come on. She rocks it so much better than I ever could.
I was supposed to meet my girlfriends at Marcella’s for dinner at 9:15. I had made a reservation for WEEKS in advance and yet somehow Marcella’s didn’t have my reservation! And of course it was Valentine’s Day so the wait was insane. I almost lost my goddamn mind. Luckily, one of the girls lived just upstairs so we went up to her apartment and drank boxed wine and ate take out!
It ended up being much better this way because we got to dance around to Beyoncé…
…And hang out with her adorable dog.
At 11 we popped over to a bar where my friend had reserved a table. Some more friends met up with us and we had a few shots and drinks.
Then we went to Callahan’s for dancing. You can’t see the pictures of that, but let me tell ya, we were having FUN. The night ended up being so awesome even though the weather was terrible and I feel SO happy that I have such cool friends.

On Sunday (my actual birthday) my friends Grace and Jon invited me over for dinner and the food was divine. Not pictured: the amazing cheese and meat plate  that I devoured. They know me so well.
A delicious dessert with a side of La Croix, because now that I’m an adult I’m trying to observe my limits.
Now here’s a few more pictures of me carrying around that chill dog:
Ahhhhh!!!! So cute!!!!
