I just finished this book last night! It was 880 pages and has taken me almost two months to finish, but I finally did! If you haven’t read any of the Outlander series, I highly recommend. This is the fourth in the series, and it’s taken me about a year to get this far. They are really long! But it’s totally worth it for the adventures and the sex.
I have a ton of books to read. I think next I’m going to start Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M. by Sam Wasson, a book my dad so kindly sent to me. I’d like to read more books, but that means I’d probably have to spend less time on the internet, so….guess that’s not happening!
In completely unrelated news, I’ve been thinking about a dress a lot. I watched this movie, The Young Victoria, a few months ago, and while I was not too impressed with the movie itself, I cannot stop thinking about this dress.
It really made me realize how beautiful purple is. It’s like I never understood purple before. Now I think that purple is so wonderful, it should be called something else. So from here on out, I will call it violet.
Hot pink used to be my power color. I have a few hot pink dresses, and I wore them whenever I needed to feel confident/hot. Now, however, I have a violet confidence dress (please do see my previous post).
I’m finally going to have some money this fall. I hope to be buying more violet clothes, so I can feel confident and regal EVERY GODDAMN DAY! I think a violet princess-cut wool coat is definitely in order.
P.S. Does anyone know how to become a costume designer for historical films? Because obviously this is what I have been put on this earth to do.
